Effective Date: 6 March 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website https://statement-pro.co.uk (the “Platform”) and the educational support services made available through it.

By accessing the Platform, submitting an order, or using any services available through Statement-Pro, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform or purchase any services.

Nothing in these Terms affects or limits any rights that you may have as a consumer under mandatory UK consumer protection legislation.

The company is not incorporated in the United Kingdom and does not maintain a legal establishment in the UK. However, the Platform is accessible to users located in the United Kingdom and may display prices in Pounds Sterling (GBP) for convenience.

Statement-Pro operates as a technology-based intermediary platform that connects users seeking educational guidance with independent tutors and editors who provide learning-support services.

Statement-Pro does not represent itself as a UK company and is not registered under the UK Companies Act.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • Platform means the website https://statement-pro.co.uk and related communication channels operated by Statement-Pro.
  • User / Client / You means any individual accessing the Platform or purchasing services through it.
  • Tutor means an independent contractor providing academic guidance services through the Platform.
  • Services means educational guidance, mentoring, editing, and feedback services related to personal statements and application materials.
  • Order means a request submitted by a User through the Platform for learning-support services.

3. Scope of Services

3.1 Guidance for the UCAS 2026 Structured Personal Statement Format

Tutors may provide guidance adapted to the UCAS structured personal statement format introduced for the 2026 admissions cycle.

This may include assistance with developing responses to the three mandatory UCAS prompts:

  • Motivation – explaining why the applicant wishes to study the chosen course
  • Preparedness – describing how previous studies have prepared the applicant
  • Experience – discussing relevant activities or experiences outside formal education

Tutors may assist Users in structuring their responses, improving clarity, and ensuring that the overall statement remains within the UCAS 4,000-character limit.

3.2 Brainstorming Assistance

Tutors may help Users identify relevant academic achievements, experiences, motivations, and personal strengths that could be incorporated into a personal statement. This process is intended to help Users develop clear ideas and organise supporting evidence for their application narrative.

3.3 Drafting Guidance

Tutors may provide step-by-step guidance during the drafting process. This may include advice on structure, logical flow, clarity of expression, and narrative development to help Users produce a coherent first draft.

3.4 Course-Specific Tailoring

Tutors may provide general guidance relating to the expectations commonly associated with particular academic disciplines or university programmes. This may include suggestions on how Users might emphasise relevant experiences, academic preparation, or motivations in their statements.

3.5 Structured Feedback

Tutors or editors may provide detailed feedback on drafts submitted by Users. Feedback may address strengths, potential improvements, clarity of arguments, tone, organisation, and overall effectiveness.

3.6 Editing and Proofreading

Tutors or editors may review and refine user-provided text to improve grammar, punctuation, clarity, and readability while preserving the User’s original voice and intended meaning.

4. Educational Purpose of Services

All services provided through the Platform are intended solely for educational guidance and skill development purposes. The Platform supports Users in developing their own application materials and improving their writing skills.

Users remain fully responsible for the final content they choose to submit as part of their university applications.

5. Academic Integrity and Lawful Use

Users must comply with the academic integrity rules of their educational institution.

Materials, feedback, or examples provided through the Platform must not be submitted as original academic work created solely by the User.

The Platform must not be used for academic misconduct.

The Services are intended to provide:

  • mentoring
  • guidance
  • editing assistance
  • skill development

and not to produce academic work for submission as the User’s own work.

Users acknowledge that submitting tutor-generated material as original work may violate institutional policies and applicable legislation.

Statement-Pro does not provide or advertise essay-mill services and operates in accordance with applicable legislation including the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022.

6. Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform independently.

An Order should include:

  • service type requested

Submitting an Order does not automatically create a contract.
